  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups white sugar, divided
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 20 ounce can crushed pineapple with juice
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • ¾ cup butter
  • ½ cup evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Preheat the Oven:
    Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan to prevent sticking.

    In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, 1 1/2 cups of sugar, baking soda, and salt.

    Add the undrained crushed pineapple and beaten eggs to the dry ingredients, stirring until the mixture is well-blended. Pour the batter evenly into the greased baking pan.
